C-level leadership, or C-suite leadership, refers to individuals who are the senior executives of an organization. It often includes roles like the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), as well as top-level executives leading other business functions such as Human Resources, Marketing, IT, and the like (with titles such as CHRO, CMO, CIO, CTO, etc.). The C-level leadership team plays a large role in defining and shaping an organization’s strategy and culture, which makes the challenges they face that much more complex, and their individual and collective leadership skills critically important to the success of the business.
